This Holiday Inn Express project consisted of much more than site prep and excavating for the hotel's building pad and it's parking lot; but, also, building a frontage street to connect the hotel to Beltline Road and Old Moulton Road for later development.
We also installed water to the hotel including the fire protection main with fire vault and fire hydrant. Sanitary sewer was brought to the project by doing an underground bore under Beltline Road. Storm drainage consisted of installing an underground detention system along with concrete pipe and structures.
We finished the project with concrete curb & gutter, dense grade base, and asphalt paving on the parking lot and frontage street according to ALDOT and City of Decatur standards. Paint striping and sign installation was our last items to complete.
